These calculators are planning aids. They do the arithmetic, but they can’t see your stock, your saw or your setup, so check the numbers before you cut: measure your actual material, make a test cut in scrap, and read the results against your own judgment. A wrong input or a wrong assumption gives a wrong answer with no warning.

Follow the instructions from the makers of your tools, bits and hardware. Where a calculator uses a manufacturer’s specs, such as the Drawer Box Calculator for Blum TANDEM, it cites the document they came from. Manufacturers change specs without notice, so check their current instructions. This site isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer it mentions.

Woodworking tools are dangerous. Nothing here replaces safe shop practice, guards, or the manual for your machine. The calculators are provided as is, with no warranty, and you use them at your own risk.

Privacy

Your projects stay in your browser

There are no accounts. Projects you save, your light or dark theme, and which Getting Started guides you’ve seen are kept in this browser’s local storage, on your device. They’re never sent to this site. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes them, so use Export Backup on My Projects to keep a copy or move them to another device.

Share links

A share link carries the whole design in the part of the address after the #. Browsers don’t send that part to the server, so the design isn’t stored anywhere but the link itself. Anyone you give the link to can see the design.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and doesn’t track you across other sites. It records which page was viewed (never the design after the #), the site that linked here, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. There are no ads and nothing is sold.

Hosting

The site is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. Links to manufacturers’ documents take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.
